    Took Some Getting Used To, But Love Them Now

    The new Facial Steam Towels are very different from the original Steam Towels.. I was a long time user of the original, and the change definitely took some getting used to. If you're finding the same thing, I'd definitely recommend sticking with them though - they are beautiful, and the added exfoliating properties are a lovely bonus. And May's email about the 3 or 4 ways that you can use them is super helpful!

    Seriously THE best towels

    They are huge, easy to wash, wonderful on the skin, do exactly what you want them too and are the ONLY facial towels I use now.

    Wonderful!

    These towels have just enough exfoliating power, they are light, dry quickly and are black so makeup stains aren't an issue. They wash and dry like a dream. Generous size. My only reason for less than five stars is that because they are a light waffle weave, they don't hold steam like a terrycloth towel would. So The Facial Steam Towel is a bit of a misnomer.

    Last may be best

    I finally ordered the towels after I tried all the other products. I did not think they would be as necessary to the face regimen as other things. For this last order, I ordered the towels. Wow, I was wrong. They are fantastic for all the reasons the sale site says, but they are so much more. I never thought about a face towel's lightness and comfortableness before. While steaming your face, you can breath easily, you can see through it to find the faucet handle, and the product has literally melted off the face into the towel so it does not require any harsh movements to scrub the rest. Next is the clean-up, it drys quickly and has a nice fabric hook for hanging the towel. I am now wishing may would make wash cloth size like these to use. Dont wait until the later to order these. Go ahead and get them to use with problem solver and clean dirt. The engineering really makes it work excellently together.

Gentle enough for daily use without overstimulation, including for those with delicate, maturing, acne-prone, or rosacea skin types, these oversized beauty cloths delight the skin from head to toe.

The Ritual

Fold towel into quarters and saturate with warm water before pressing over the face and neck for a luxurious facial steam. 

Note: My sink water never gets hot enough, so for the sake of the environment, I like to pour a cup of tea, and while that’s steeping, pour the remaining steaming water over my cloth and then press the thickly folded, saturated cushion over my face, neck, and décolleté.

Gently massage, rinse, and repeat until the skin is cleansed and singing. 

And if you’re in the bath - twist into a long roll to exfoliate the back, shoulders, hips, and thighs. Finally, drape over your chest and belly, soothing stressed nerves as you soak and release.

Our 100% organic cotton exfoliating face & body towels are hand-knit and hand-dyed by a small maker in Lithuania using techniques that date back to the 19th century.

Wash and dry before your first use and between each cleansing session. To care for your luxury cloths, hand or machine wash with gentle detergent and like colors. Tumble dry on low or air dry to enjoy hundreds of steamy snuggles.
